I thought I'd make some more expressions, just in case I need them for later close-up reference. These didn't take quite as long as the first expression, given that I kept the original shape of the torso and head, and simply changed the face.
Whether this was all worth the effort and the time, it was a good experiment and will most likely have some outcome on the final paintings. Its a challenge to take a person or character and draw them out on paper exactly as you imagine them. Creating the character in 3d form is even more of a challenge, its almost like your bringing it to life or something.
